Tomorrow’s episode will be focused on the situation prevailing due to COVID-19,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted. 2) Coronavirus lockdown | Migrant labour continue exodus Thousands of migrant workers belonging to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal crowded the Anand Vihar bus terminal in New Delhi and nearby border areas to leave the city for their native places. Kejriwal urges migrant workers leaving Delhi to stay back. 3) Coronavirus lockdown | Rajasthan Police start giving permit on app for movement during lockdown The permission is being sent on email of the applicant but from Sunday onwards it will be also available inside the application to help people who don’t have knowledge of using e-mail. 4) Coronavirus | Karnataka CM convenes all-party meet on COVID-19 The meeting would be held at the Conference Hall in the Vidhana Soudha, the State Secretariat, at 12 pm. (No mention whether it's video conference). 5) Coronavirus | Goa virology lab to start delivering test reports from Sunday The virology lab is set up at the Goa Medical College and Hospital. 6) Coronavirus | Trump considering quarantine for NY, NJ and Connecticut President Donald Trump said he was considering a quarantine as early as Saturday (Sunday India time) for coronavirus hotspots in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut to stop the spread from reaching states with fewer infections. It was unclear whether he has the power to order residents of a state to stay put. As the United States led the world with confirmed coronavirus cases, cities such as Detroit, Chicago and New Orleans grew as hotspots Saturday. 7) Mali votes on Sunday, opposition urges huge turnout despite coronavirus Mali’s main opposition party called for “massive participation” in Sunday’s parliamentary election, despite its leader being kidnapped and the rising coronavirus threat in the war-torn West African country. 8) Coronavirus | Turky steps up anti-COVID-19 measures The Turkish government has stepped up measures to try to prevent the spread of the virus including cancelling international flights. The interior ministry said that from 3 am GMT on Sunday (8.30 am IST), passengers wishing to travel by plane would need a document to prove they had been granted permission to do so. 9) Coronavirus | Shah Rukh’s ‘Circus’ returns on Sunday Referring to Shah Rukh’s character Shekharan Rai, the public broadcaster announced that the show will start airing on DD National from 8 pm on Sunday.
