On another day dominated by news of the coronavirus spread, here are the major stories to follow: 1) Coronavirus | Final results of tests on those without a travel history to be declared today The Indian Council of Medical Research has tested around 1,040 samples of patients admitted at various hospitals, including private facilities, due to influenza-like illness and severe acute respiratory ailments. This check is crucial to determine of the spread of the virus has reached stage-3, or what is know as community transmission, when it affects people who have even not been exposed to those patients with a travel history abroad. So far, none of the samples has tested positive for COVID-19. The final results will declared on Wednesday. 2) Coronavirus | India ban on travellers from EU, U.K., Turkey takes effect from today Entry of travellers from European Union nations, the European Free Trade Association, Turkey and the United Kingdom to India is banned from Wednesday. 3) Coronavirus | Parliamentary committee on Transport, Aviation and Tourism calls a meeting The parliamentary committee on Transport, Aviation and Tourism has accepted Trinamool MP Derek O’ Brien’s suggestion to take cognisance of the effects of coronavirus and has called a meeting of the concerned ministries today. 4) Yes Bank moratorium ends today The private lender will resume normal operations from today evening and it has no liquidity problem, according to administrator Prashant Kumar. 5) SC to hear plea for release of Omar Abdullah The Supreme Court will hear a plea by Sara Abdullah Pilot, seeking release from Detention of her brother and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah.
