 "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" star Marin Hinkle and "Orange Is the New Black" star Alysia Reiner ran into each other after the show on Monday and it. Was. Magic. The pair played sisters in the play "Jayson With a Y" back in 2006 and loved catching up! 😍 A WORD FROM OUR HOSTS  ZACH: This week was a RIDE, but a good one. I am always so proud of how we are able to highlight important conversations around big stories like the Amazon fires and then have people like the "Real Housewives of Potomac" on to bring some levity. Twitter is a place that contains levels, and I am so proud our show is able to show that. Now...I am off to NOLA to host a big, queer podcast festival. Hope to see you there? ALEX: This week was incredible because I got to talk to several women using their platforms — journalism, acting, writing, beyond — to create a more equitable culture. I started off the week talking to "Orange Is the New Black" star Alysia Reiner about the show's immigration storyline, then had a wide-ranging conversation on Tuesday with former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson about her advocacy, Lifetime documentaries, and how she reconciles her work now with her previous employer. Those conversations were followed by an interview with author Shonda Buchanan on her memoir "Black Indian," about the search for her multiracial identity and a fascinating conversation with sex ed icon Dr. Ruth, where she had some surprising things to say about millennials and consent.
