Xbox E3 announcements

It's official: the next-gen game console war starts... next year.

But that still means there's a lot of posturing going on now. Sony has been teasing PS5 details over the last couple of months, and yesterday, Microsoft revealed the first details about whatever the next Xbox will be called.

For now, the next-gen Xbox and PlayStation sound fairly similar, but we're still looking at very high-level details. As Microsoft learned with the Xbox One launch, nailing how everything works can matter more than the games and graphics.
