Apple names Sabih Khan SVP of Operations as Jeff Williams adds new design responsibilities

Following the news that Jony Ive is leaving Apple this year, Apple has also announced that Sabih Khan has been named to its executive team. Khan will serve as Apple’s senior vice president of operations.

Jony Ive to depart Apple, form his own independent design company

Apple’s chief design officer Jony Ive is leaving the company after more than 20 years. Ive will form his own independent design firm. Apple will be a client of Ive’s new design firm, but he will not be an Apple employee.

Eddy Cue confirms 60M paying Apple Music users, explains the death of iTunes
