| The Centre said it has decided to extend the deadline for linking Aadhaar to various government schemes from September 30 to December 31. This is the second such extension; earlier, the Centre had fixed June 30 as the deadline for every citizen to furnish Aadhaar to be eligible to avail benefits under social welfare schemes.
